Be carried away at the 36th Cleveland International Film Festival at Tower City Cinemas. With approximately 150 feature films and 130 short subject films representing more than 60 countries, there will be something for everyone. Friday, February 10th--Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Cleveland--2012 Annual Luncheon--Join NHS as they celebrate 36 years of helping Northeast Ohioans achieve, preserve and sustain the American Dream of Home Ownership. Saturday, February 18th--Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation--Cash Mob--The goal of "cash mobs" is to bolster locally owned businesses. Tuesday, February 21st--Northeast Shores Development Corporation--Taste the Neighborhood--Join Northeast Shores for a chance to sample foods from the neighborhood's many restaurants and eateries. Food and drink will begin at 6pm and the program will start at 7pm. Awards will be presented to neighborhood groups and there will be a cash bar. All of this will take place at the Lithuanian Hall located at 877 East 185th Street. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 day of the event. Friday, March 30th--Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation--Rubber Ducks Fundraiser--Watch rubber ducks racing down waterfalls. All the fun will be held at the Ampol Hall located at 4737 Pearl Rd. Tickets are $15/members and $20/nonmembers and at the door. Ticket includes a spaghetti dinner, draft beer and wash. You can bring your own snacks and liquor. You also have the opportunity to name your duck ($20) and be a sponsor which starts at only $25.
