CNDC in the News
CNDC's membership is comprised of Cleveland area community development
corporations, financial institutions, developers, local universities,
and others concerned with the issues facing neighborhood development today.
MEMBERSHIP
There are three categories of CNDC
membership: Voting, Supporting, and Corporate. Voting Members pay
dues of $200-$600 per year depending on their annual budget, Supporting
members pay dues of $300-$500 depending on their budget and Corporate
members pay dues of $1500.
Voting Members must meet the following criteria:
- must have a mission statement deemed
consistent with CNDC's mission;
- must be designated as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt
organization by the U. S Internal Revenue Service;
- must have two years of operational experience
in neighborhood revitalization, concentrating on economic and community
development, prior to application;
- must have an organizational structure that
ensures involvement of stakeholders in the area served;
- must be current in payment of annual dues;
- must meet all other criteria established by
the Board of Trustees for Voting Members
Some
benefits of membership in CNDC include: access to health insurance,
retirement plans, group entertainment discounts, a resource library, invitations
to industry networking events, discounts on workshops and training, industry
research reports and subscription to the monthly InfoMail newsletter.
